Global climate change has already had observable and adverse effects on our environment.
As the climate change is being effecting us and our environment to a high extent, are we concerned
about it ? As a young youth, are we doing something to save our planet ?

Now, it's a high time to stand up, raise our voices for our environment to make it a better place.
In the above documentary, we have seen how the young generations are taking steps and making a change towards saving the planet. There are many movements which are taking action toward it and making the world about the global climate crisis. Sunrise movement is one among them.
SUNRISE MOVEMENT
It is an American youth- led youth movement that takes action on climate change.
They have united to raise their voices on climate change across America.
They talk to their neighbors, friends, families, religious leaders, classmates, and teachers, in order to spread the awareness.
Following the non-violence's principle, they advise and motivates the maximum number of people to participate for bringing the change in environment.
The sunrise movement has launched THE GREEN NEW DEAL strategy in 2017.
It is a congressional resolution to mobilize every aspect of American society to 100% clean and renewable energy. Their goal is to guarantee living wage jobs for everyone who needs, and a transition for both workers and frontline communities in the next ten years.
The goals of the The Green New Deal :
- to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions.
- to create millions of good, high-wage jobs and ensure prosperity and economic security for all people of the United States;
- to secure a sustainable environment for all the people of the United States.
From this documentary, I have learnt how important it is to nourish and take care of the planet, where we live. We need to act as a responsible human being and protect our mother nature.
How can We? Protecting or Environment, starts from us...
- Reduce, reuse and recycle
- Conserve water
- Choose sustainable
- Shop wisely
- Plant trees
- Use public transport.
Cheaper yet trendy products, who will not buy them. The fast fashion industries are majorly focusing on the consumer's behavior of buying more and more. No one is worried about the environmental impact of their activity. From growing fibers to the making of final cloth, our environment is one who pays the most. Many communities and groups are formed in the world who are fighting for climate change, only to grab government's attention to the matter. Also the point of sustainability is very important at this point. Everyone should indeed practice sustainability.
